The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the IPL 2023 Schedule for the 16th season of the Indian Premier League. This time the 10 teams of IPL 2023 have been divided into A and B groups. Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Supergiants have been placed in the first group. Whereas, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans have been included in the second group.

The first match will be played between Chennai and Gujarat Titans on 31 March 2023. This time matches will be played at 12 venues. Dharamshala and Guwahati are two new venues added to the IPL this time. The last league match will be played on 28 May 2023. During the league, 70 matches will be played in 50 days, in which there will be 18 double header matches.
